Container Storage and Warehousing
We specialise in container storage charged at a weekly rate per container. The benefits of container storage are less handling, elimination of losses and more cost effective, and when the containers are packed the doors are replaced and sealed and are not reopened until we deliver the containers back to your new abode. Storage insurance can be arranged. Each container holds 250 cube feet in contents. The containers are made of a wooden structure and are loaded into and out of our warehouse by forklift. Our vehicles can hold from one to five containers. The containers can be used for long or short term storage. We also provide standard conventional storage at a weekly rate.
Packing
When it comes to packing we all know that it is a task we never look forward to. Invariably the customer neither has the time due to family or work commitments or the experience to pack the contents of their home. Our professional packing service is another way we can help take the stress out of your move; this will give you more time to proceed with other important issues in your moving schedule.
We will send our packing team usually the day before your move depending on the amount of packing required or at a time which is convenient to you. They will clear cupboards, shelves, drawers and safely box the small delicate items that need special care and attention. The team are caring and courteous and very knowledgeable in all packaging matters.
If you decide to pack yourself, DIY packing instruction, boxes and materials can be provided.
Overseas Removals
Whether it is a small consignment or a full container we have the organisation to handle your goods which are destined for worldwide transit. Our fully trained export packers will make sure your contents are packed with the necessary care and efficiency using specifically designed heavy duty export packing materials, they will also handle all documentation necessary for international shipments. As part of a global network of agents we can arrange a full door to door service to any major destination in the world which is inclusive of customs clearance, delivery to residence and the unpacking and setting up of your new home. We can also arrange storage until you are ready to receive your goods. Overseas removals requires specialist knowledge which we have acquired during our 25 years of trading.
European Removals
Mills Removals have the experience to make your removal a straight forward operation. We are familiar with the regulations and documentation required for an efficient move to Europe. At present we specialise in moving people from the Sussex, Kent and Surrey areas to all parts of France, Spain and Portugal. We can also arrange deliveries to any part of Europe as a part or full load. Our vehicles leave at the end of every month and every 10 days during the busy Summer months. We can also arrange storage at any destination throughout Europe. If your moving out date and moving in date do not coincide we will give you one months free storage in the UK for all European deliveries.
